Pars Padna Tis Fodder Services Inc. (hereafter, referred to as the Subsidiary) will operate under the agricultural feed merchant wholesalers (NAICS: 418310) industry. Under the management of Mr. Mostafa Farokhzad (hereafter referred to as Mr. Farokhzad), the Subsidiary will specialize in wholesaling and exporting a wide variety of animal feeds such as hay, compressed and pelleted feeds, oil and mixed rations, and sprouted grains and legumes to small and commercial animal farms and fodder retailers in the Greater Toronto Area. The Subsidiary will source its products from local fodder producers.
The Subsidiary will receive industry-related support from "Pars Padna Tis Co." (hereafter referred to as the Parent Company). The Parent Company was established in 2013 and has over 9 years of experience and operations in Iran's commercial goods trading industry, particularly in agricultural products. The Parent Company imports, exports, distributes, and sells commercial products such as animal feed, saffron, flour, and other commodities throughout the Middle Eastern countries, Switzerland, Germany, and others. The Parent Company successfully established international networks in the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia and is currently operating in Tehran, Iran. To attract more consumers and wholesalers and to strongly position themselves in the market, the Parent Company became a member of different groups and participated in various agricultural and food product exhibitions in Russia, Iraq, and the Netherlands. Furthermore, the Parent Company focuses on customer satisfaction and excellent after-sale services. With the Parent Company's successful foundation in Iran, it aspires to pursue opportunities for global expansion, starting with Canada as its main priority. The Subsidiary was incorporated as “Pars Padna Tis Fodder Services Inc.” on March 28, 2022 in Ontario, Canada with incorporation number 1000158048.
As the Subsidiary's Executive Director, Mr. Farokhzad will be responsible for planning the Subsidiary’s overall operations. Mr. Farokhzad will be in charge of staff management, business
development strategies, and the development of sales and marketing strategies. Moreover, Mr. Farokhzad will be accountable for sourcing new clients, negotiations, and other official functions as the Subsidiary’s representative. He will implement policies and concrete objectives through effective management and strategic decision-making.
The Subsidiary will position itself as a reliable and efficient wholesaler of a wide selection of highquality, affordable, and nutritious animal feed in Ontario. Upon arriving in Canada, Mr. Farokhzad will process the requirements and necessary documents to obtain an import and export license. The Subsidiary will source its inventory from local farmers and manufacturers of animal feeds to be distributed to small farms and commercial farms in the Greater Toronto Area. At the start of year 2, the Subsidiary will begin exporting its products to the Parent Company and its affiliated international partners to be distributed internationally. The Subsidiary will primarily target animal farm owners and retailers across Ontario. The Subsidiary will take into account the creation of an effective logistics network in order to take advantage of the economy while ensuring products are delivered in a timely manner. The Subsidiary will leverage the experience of Mr. Farokhzad to source high-quality products at the most affordable price. Here, Mr. Farokhzad intends to partner with animal feed manufacturers, with additional support from the Parent Company, which will allow him to operate as a direct affiliate of quality products. The Subsidiary aims to show its commitment to excellent customer service by assisting its clients in choosing the right products suitable for their needs.
The Subsidiary will locate its office in the Greater Toronto Area and will operate Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Subsidiary will be located in the region as it is the most populated economic region with high economic activity in Canada. The Greater Toronto Area is a strategic location for its high economic activity while having a large market. The Subsidiary will benefit from the rising population and strong presence of target markets in Ontario. Among Canada’s provinces, Ontario has the fifth-fastest population growth rate and accounted for 38.7% of the national population in 2021. Moreover, the growth is expected to continue increasing with a growth rate of 1.6% to 16.08 million people making up 39.9% of Canada’s population by 2026. Ontario is one of the top provinces with the highest number of animal farms and pet food stores accounting for 18.09% and 40.18% of the share in business active among Canada’s provinces, respectively. As such, the Subsidiary will set itself in Ontario and leverage these factors and the strong presence of its targets which will provide a steady demand for the Subsidiary’s products.
The Subsidiary aims to make a positive contribution to Ontario by ensuring a steady supply of high quality, affordable, and nutritious agricultural feed. Moreover, the Subsidiary will benefit the Canadian economy by offering customers a larger variety in choice of products as it aims to directly partner with reputable local manufacturers and suppliers. In addition, the Subsidiary will uphold the province's advocacy towards sustainable business practices by sourcing products that is beneficial to the health of animals, as well as its consumers. In addition, the presence of the Subsidiary in the market will encourage and stimulate trade and commerce in the Greater Toronto Area. Finally, the Canadian government will benefit from the knowledge and skill transfer and enhancement of the Canadian talent pool as Mr. Farokhzad imparts his knowledge and expertise in wholesaling and international trading to the Canadian citizens or permanent residents he will employ.
